Over 100 visitors recently attended a Meet the Contractor Event hosted by Higgins Construction, Notting Hill Housing and Southwark Council for local residents to discuss the development of Wooddene Estate in Peckham.
The event gave people the opportunity to meet the key stakeholders involved in the development and find out about works and have any questions answered.
Murray Maunder, Project Director for Higgins Construction at Wooddene Estate comments, “We were extremely pleased with the number of people who took the time to come and find out more about the redevelopment of Wooddene Estate. They were also able to view the information boards about the development programme and the timetable of work.
“These type of consultation events are extremely important to us as they allow us to forge positive relationships with the estate’s residents and local community and keep them up to date with key milestones happening on site. It also allows visitors to meet the project team who will be working on the project.”
