Higgins Constructions sponsors Third Finsbury Park Regeneration Conference

Higgins Construction will be sponsoring and speaking at the third Finsbury Park Regeneration Conference being held on Saturday 25th March 2017.

The conference will include guest speakers MP for Islington North, Jeremy Corbyn and Mayor of Hackney, Phil Glanville. There will also be MPs from Hackney and Haringey, local business owners, local London Assembly Members and the Leader of Islington Council.  Cabinet Members for Regeneration from Hackney, Haringey and Islington Councils will also be on a panel of speakers about The Tri Borough Accord.

The conference gives people the opportunity to discuss what they like or dislike about Finsbury Park and what they think needs to be done to make it a better place to live and work. A number of workshops covering jobs & training; supporting local businesses; open spaces; neighbourhood planning and public arts & culture will also take place.

We have had a great deal of experience regenerating communities and will be speaking at the conference about our experiences and challenges on the Kings Crescent Estate in Hackney and what makes it so unique.”

The Finsbury Park Trust seeks to improve life for the people who live and work in Finsbury Park, North London. The Trust promotes improvements to the local environment, and bring together the three borough councils of Hackney, Haringey and Islington to share solutions with local residents and businesses.
