Higgins Construction reports record turnover

Higgins Construction plc. has reported a record turnover of £181 million for year ending July 31st 2015 and has laid the foundations for another record year in 2015/2016.

Steve Leakey, Managing Director of Higgins Construction comments, “This year has seen a transition for Higgins Construction. We have changed the way the company works over the past 18 months by appointing a dedicated Project Director for each major project, who will be on the ground to liaise directly with the client.

“We have also been appointed on a number of significant schemes and are in an excellent position going forward to continue to grow our reputation as a key organization in the housing arena. We have a turnover set for £225 million in 2015/2016 and an order book of £465 million.”

Higgins Construction has recently been appointed to work on a number of key projects including the £50 million regeneration project at Ocean Estate, Tower Hamlets; £49 million at Geron Way, Cricklewood; £44 million on London Road, St Albans; £48 million project at St Bernards Hospital, Ealing; £10 million at Olga School, Tower Hamlets; £73 million in Central Chelmsford; £12 million at London Lane, Hackney and £14 million at Sutherland Road, Walthamstow.
