Higgins Construction promotes the importance of health and safety with local school children

Higgins Construction’s children’s health and safety expert ‘Phil Safe’ has been helping local children learn about health and safety on Higgins latest development in St Albans.

‘Phil Safe’ talked to children from St Albans Home Education Group about health and safety on construction sites and what is involved in building new homes. The children found the visit very worthwhile.

Paul Cooke, New Business Director commented, “Phil Safe joined the Higgins team in 2011 to help us communicate the important message that building sites are dangerous and we are delighted that the children from St Albans Home Education Group found the visit so rewarding.”

Gabriel Square on London Road in St. Albans includes the design and construction of 80 residential homes and apartments around a raised central courtyard, with parking below and a public square and garden above. The homes will include 52 townhouses ranging from three to five bedrooms, 16 two and three bedroom maisonettes and 12 one and two bedroom apartments.
