The design and construction of 52 new flats (14 number to be used for shared ownership, 18 rented and 20 private sale), 10 commercial B1 units in three blocks plus external works and infrastructure, including repairs to the Regent’s Canal wall.
The plans involved the demolition of the existing buildings at 7-14 Branch Place, and their replacement with a mixed use development with a single storey pedastal containing 100m² industrial unit with a mezzanine and three residential blocks above, up to seven-storeys.
The project was designed to achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating, and to meet with 'Level 4' of the Code for Sustainable Homes, with 10% renewable energy through the use of air source heat pumps and PV’s.
