Craylands Estate

The design and build of 201 flats and houses on the existing Fryerns School playing field. The project was integral to the regeneration of the area and the rebranding of the Craylands Estate to Beechwood Village.

The project comprised timber frame units with a mixture of brick, render and cladding externally. The houses and flats are mixed tenure consisting of private sale, shared ownership and affordable rent. There are a mix of three and four bedroom houses all with their own front gardens enjoying tree lined main streets, pavements and cycle paths. Two bedroomed houses are also provided, each with their own garden and are built on a residential street pattern.

The scheme also included one and two bedroom apartments.

The project has a number of sustainable features including solar panels, photovoltaics and is Code for Sustainable Homes 'Level 3' throughout.
