St Andrews Park, Uxbridge

This mixed use Assisted Living Development for Anchor Hanover comprising of 72 assisted living apartments, one and two bedrooms in Uxbridge. The building rises from 4 to 7 storeys and features under croft parking for residents. The development also includes communal spaces such as a lounge, bistro, health and wellness suites, guest accommodation, staff rooms, services and landscaping.

Situated near Uxbridge town centre, close to residents, Uxbridge Tube Station and a school this new mixed use development is located on a 1.53 acre site as part of the wider St Andrews Park, a 110-acre, seven-year regeneration of the former air base. The six-storey building is surrounded by landscaping, with dense evergreen shrubs planting to filter views of the building along with a residents’ communal garden with seating areas and raised planters. To the south of the site, ornamental planting provides seasonal interest and enhances the building façades.

The architect for the project is Tooley & Foster Partnership who worked alongside our wider design team. During the pre-construction stage our team carried out detailed investigations into the proposed scheme and suggested a number of different value engineering options for Anchor Hanover to consider including: Omitting the central ventilation system and adding individual MEV to each unit, alternative light fittings, alternative bricks, alternative hard surfacing to external areas and changes to car park drainage.
