Banbury Park, Walthamstow

A Mixed-Use Development for Clarion Housing Group comprising 351 private and affordable homes in Walthamstow, North-East London, part of the wider Blackhorse Road Regeneration. The development provides new homes, retail uses, commercial spaces, and additional community facilities. The development also created new public realm areas and improved accessibility to the area.

Established on a former industrial estate, homes at Banbury Park successfully integrate the adjoining countryside with the urban area. Designed by Architect HTA Design, with PRP acting as Employer’s Agent. The development is designed to provide the space and facilities necessary for modern city living, a factor that embraces the current demographic of the area as well as welcoming new residents to Walthamstow.

The site brings fresh opportunities, with state-of-the-art office space, complementary retail units, and sustainable landscape works, opening up the area and developing a thriving, more attractive place for both residents and businesses.

London Borough of Waltham Forest Economic Development Team were keen to ensure that the construction of both sites went beyond “bricks & mortar”. As a result, we delivered a number of initiatives including: 5 x trainee apprentices, work experience opportunities, 20% Local labour, working partnership with local providers and job fairs just to provide a summary.
