Higgins Construction plc, as part of the Regenter Consortium, was confirmed as Preferred Bidder in December 2009 by the London Borough of Lambeth.

This PFI contract encompasses nearly 1000 properties, and features the reprovision of 305 existing Lambeth dwellings, the refurbishment of 173 leaseholder properties the new build of 507 apartments and houses for sale, rent and shared ownership and the installation of a new road, sewer and public realm infrastructure.. The entire development will be served by a combined heat and power plant achieving Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
The current timetable is to make a hybrid planning application in late March 2010 targeting a planning determination in mid June 2010. Following financial close in September, site works are expected to commence in October 2010. The construction programme is planned to complete in the spring of 2015.
