The design and build of 310 flats rising to 14 storeys for mixed tenure on a prime city site, including ground floor retail units for A2 Dominion.

| Client: | A2 Dominion |
After the major demolition of the old LBTH Council Depot and a petrol station in 2008, the area lay fallow covered by a mountain of crushed concrete. Works resumed in May 2009, and we re-cycled the crushed material for piling mats and hard standings.
Before the piling could commence, we carried out a geophysical survey for unexploded Ordnance, as this area was severely affected by bombing during World War II.
Although on a major trunk road into the City, access can be difficult as the site is on a Red Route. A Traffic Management Plan was designed that allowed access from two points, this avoided local congestion and separated pedestrians and vehicles on a busy Site.
